poppl: tap, merge & pop

Meet Poppl: The Calm in Every Pop
There's a particular kind of joy in popping a bubble. It's small, it's satisfying, and it's over in an instant — which is exactly why we built an entire game around it.
Where Poppl Comes From
High above a place called Bubblebright Valley, every happy thought floats up and becomes a bubble. It's a soft, colorful world where nothing moves too fast — and it's home to Poppl, a gentle little bubble creature with two small mounds on her head that wiggle whenever she's excited or discovers something new.
Poppl loves patterns. She loves color. And more than anything, she loves the quiet satisfaction of putting everything exactly where it belongs. She's playful and curious, but she's never rushed — and when the world around her starts to feel too loud or too busy, she uses her special Calm Pop ability to turn jumbled, chaotic energy into soft sparkles and peaceful bubbles.
That's the whole idea behind the game, too.
What Poppl Actually Is
Poppl is a tap-merge-pop game — simple to pick up, satisfying to play, and built from the ground up to be sensory-friendly. No jump scares. No overwhelming sound design. No pressure to move faster than feels comfortable. Just calm colors, soothing audio, and the steady, repeatable rhythm of popping bubbles at your own pace.
We designed it this way on purpose. A lot of games — even "casual" ones — are louder and more frantic than they need to be. Poppl was built as the opposite: a game you can sink into when you want to slow down, whether that's a kid winding down before bed or an adult who just needs five quiet minutes.
Why We Made Her
illManajed Games is a family-owned indie studio, and Poppl exists because we wanted a game like this for our own family and couldn't quite find one. Sensory-sensitive kids (and plenty of grown-ups) don't always need more stimulation — sometimes they need less, delivered in a way that still feels fun.
Poppl's motto sums it up best:
"One happy pop at a time."
That's really all she's asking of you — not to win, not to rush, just to enjoy one small, satisfying moment before moving on to the next.
